1.0 Student – Learn and Work Program Position - Temporary/Full-Time

Location:                      Schumacher Board Office / Hybrid

Reporting to:               Manager of Building Services

Start date:                    Required May 13, 2024 until August 16, 2024

Vacancy Details:          35 hours/week - 8:00am to 4:00pm

​SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Reviewing, verifying, and documenting information collected on site with regards to building and room details in all DSB1 facilities.
• Successful candidate will collect and document building and room details in the form of photos, notes, and possibly 3D imaging software.
• Data collected will entail the review of two databases and verifying what is on the ground for all facilities across the Board. Correct information will then be logged into database.
• Data and documentation will be used to ensure data integrity across two databases and in the field.

​QUALIFICATIONS:

·         Working towards a degree from an accredited university or diploma from an accredited college

·         Team player with good interpersonal, and oral communication skills

·         Shall work cooperatively and effectively with other staff and supervisors.

·         Excellent analytical and organization skills

·         Technical skills and knowledge on computer (Excel, Word, Database); AutoCAD knowledge is an asset.

·         Valid Ontario driver’s license

·         Must have a current, Board approved, WHMIS Certificate
