Qualifications
Post-secondary diploma or degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management or related field.
Must have exceptional organizational and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, graphic design tools and experience with Google Workspace is required.
Demonstrated experience in social media management and content creation.
Must have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an administrative role.
Knowledge of Ontario healthcare regulations and experience in recruitment, medical affairs, event coordination and planning is considered an asset.
Must have the ability to provide services in English and French.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate physician orientation, organize accommodations for locums and visiting specialists, request access credentials and liaise with hospital administration.
Manage physician privilege applications, maintain professional staff records, and ensure compliance with credentialing policies and legislative requirements.
Design and publish physician recruitment content, create promotional materials, and actively post job opportunities on social media to attract physicians. Maintain physician-focused resources on the hospital’s website.
Submit documentation for locum physician funding, prepare financial reports and grant applications and provide other administrative support.
Coordinate physician site visits, organize detailed itineraries, and post vacancies on recruitment platforms.
Provide clerical support for meetings, prepare agendas, and minutes and arrange catering as needed.
Manage data entry, maintain records, draft correspondence, and handle general clerical tasks and provide support for the Physician Recruitment Coordinator, Executive Assistant, and Chief of Staff during absences and peak workload periods.
