POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Director of Youth Services, the office manager will be
responsible for planning and overseeing all administrative support and office services for the
Youth Department. This includes coordinating and communicating office activities, reception duties, shipping and receiving, supplies and stationery, health regulations, and general office safety requirements.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration and/or equivalent combination of education and work experience related to office administration and management.
- Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working within an office or administrative setting.
- Must have a valid Ontario Driver’s License.
- A clear criminal reference check (CPIC) and Vulnerable Sector Check.
- Must be fully vaccinated for Covid 19.
- Must have experience/education in managing budgets, expenses, and financial resources.
- Excellent organizational and coordination skills and the ability to prioritize multiple competing workload-demands in fast paced environment.
- Effective communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with others in a respectful manner as defined in the Mushkegowuk Council’s Code of Conduct.
- Ability to take initiative, work independently, meet tight deadlines, and contribute as a member of a team.
- Strong organizational, planning, problem-solving, multi-tasking, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, Outlook, Google Calendar, Zoom, and Teams.
- Ability to speak Cree is considered an asset.
