Qualifications:                      

• Ontario College of Teachers Accreditation
• Primary/Junior qualifications – required
• Special Education qualifications – required
• Reading Part 1 qualifications – preferred
• Mathematics Primary and Junior Part 1 qualifications – preferred
• Experience supporting students with special education needs, including those with autism and intellectual disabilities - preferred

Compensation:    

Salary in accordance with the current ETFO - Elementary Teacher collective agreement Collective Agreements (dsb1.ca) – prorated based on FTE.                                                                                              

A0–A2 (Steps 0–11): $54,016 - $100,146                                                                                                  

A3–A4 (Steps 0–11): $67,397 - $120,363
