Inspire Centre is looking for a Finance and Property Manager to be located in Timmins, ON.
This is a permanent full time management position (37.5 hours per week).

Inspire Centre is a not-for-profit organization providing family-centred, interdisciplinary rehabilitation services to children and youth with physical, developmental, and communication needs across Northern Ontario. Position Summary
The Finance and Property Manager is a key member of the management team and is responsible for the organization’s day-to-day financial operations, as well as oversight of property, facilities, and information technology services across six (6) office sites. Working closely with the part-time Director of Finance, this role ensures sound financial stewardship, compliance with funder and legislative requirements, and safe, well-maintained environments that support effective clinical service delivery.
The Manager provides direct supervision to finance and maintenance staff members and may, at times, provide hands-on transactional support. Property and IT functions are overseen through internal staff and/or third-party service providers.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management
• Manage day-to-day financial operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll coordination, and banking;
• Prepare monthly financial statements, variance analyses, and internal management reports;
• Support annual budget development, forecasting, and long-range financial planning;
• Ensure compliance with funding agreements, legislation, and organizational financial policies;
• Coordinate annual audit processes and liaise with external auditors;
• Maintain effective internal controls and contribute to organizational risk management;
Property and Facilities Oversight
• Oversee facilities operations across multiple sites, including maintenance schedules, leases, and capital assets;
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and building requirements;
• Manage vendor relationships for facilities, maintenance, and security services;
• Support space planning, accessibility, and capital improvement initiatives;
Information Technology Oversight
• Oversee IT systems and services delivered internally and/or by external providers;
• Ensure cybersecurity, privacy, data integrity, and system reliability;
• Coordinate procurement, licensing, and lifecycle management of IT hardware and software;
• Support technology solutions that enable clinical and administrative operations;
Leadership and Collaboration
• Supervise and support assigned finance and maintenance staff;
• Collaborate with program and operational leaders to ensure resources align with service needs;
• Participate as a member of the management team in planning, policy development, and organizational initiatives;
Qualifications and Experience
• Post secondary degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• CPA designation or progress toward CPA is an asset
• Minimum three to five (3-5) years of progressive financial management experience, preferably in a not-for-profit or publicly funded environment
• Experience overseeing facilities/property and working with third-party service providers
• Bilingualism (English/French) – essential
• Clear Vulnerable Sector Screen – essential
• Valid driver’s licence – essential
• Strong analytical, organizational, and people-leadership skills
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range: $85000 – $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience
