General Maintenance Worker
The TNFC provides services to support the cultural heritage of Indigenous peoples through intervention, prevention, direct services, advocacy, and support in the areas of health, education, employment and training, culture, recreation, and social services.
Job Duties:
- Oversee all financial operations, accounting, payroll, and financial reporting
- Lead the development, monitoring, and analysis of annual budgets and forecasts
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
- Monitor cash flow and ensure effective financial planning and controls
- Manage the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial records
- Oversee accounts payable and receivables processes, including reconciliation
- Lead year-end processes, including audit preparation and coordination with external auditors
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and manage all government remittances
- Oversee the administration of employee benefits and related financial programs
- Supervise and support finance and payroll staff, providing guidance and oversight
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Maintain financial policies, internal controls, and reporting systems

The successful candidate will be expected to work 35 hours per work week, on occasion, evenings or weekends. The working hours will meet the demands of the position, the needs, and the objectives and are at the sole discretion of TNFC.
Starting salary range begins at $ 17.60 to $21.00 plus benefits,
(wage conditional upon experience)
