Operations Manager

CJ Equipment Repairs

Full-Time • Timmins Region

Description

CJ Equipment Sales and Service is growing our team. We are currently looking to fill the position of Full-Time experienced Operations Manager. Hours would be 7:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday-Friday. Wage to be discussed and based on experience. Benefit package available post-probation period

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Create team schedules and delegate tasks to ensure proper workflow.
  • Continuously monitor employee performance and identify areas of improvement.
  • Establish company goals and objectives for employees, and ensure their performance is in line with those.
  • Assess employee performance and provide performance reviews to human resource and senior managers.
  • Ensure team members meet deadlines for key projects and tasks.
  • Address any concerns or issues identified by team members.
  • Assist in the process of screening and assessing new candidates.
  • Provide training and oversee the orientation of new employees to get them up to speed on the policies and procedures within the company.
  • Oversee efficiency of operational processes
  • Analyze business requirements and customer needs.
  • Research methods to improve operations and reduce costs.
  • Provide administrative support (e.g. updating inventory)
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.

 

Requirements And Skills

  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with a demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively.
  • Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations within a production environment.
  • Experience with budget management and resource allocation.
  • Minimum of Grade 12, with a post-secondary education in a business-related discipline preferred
  • Experience in an operational management role within the repair and maintenance industry preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience supervising/managing
  • Mechanically inclined, and be comfortable with troubleshooting problems preferred
  • Exceptional inter-personal, organizational, and time management skills
  • Above-average computer acumen with MS Office 365 and Outlook. Keyloop/Serti experience preferred.
  • Experience and/or exposure in the aggregate, mining, or construction industries would be an asset
  • Superior telephone manners and etiquette
  • Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm
  • An internal drive to respond quickly in a dynamic and changing environment
  • Ability to quickly analyze and interpret the needs of customers and offer the appropriate options, solutions, and resolutions required
