QUALITY CONTROL COORDINATOR – NIGHT SHIFT

Job Title: Quality Coordinator

Job Type: Full-time

Location: 500 Sultan Industrial Road, Gogama, ON

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Coordinator to oversee our company's quality control processes. The Quality Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring that our products and services meet the highest standards of quality and comply with regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Monitor production processes to identify and address quality issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement corrective actions to prevent quality issues from recurring.
• Conduct quality audits and inspections to ensure that products and services meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Review and analyze customer feedback and product returns to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and maintain quality metrics and reports to track performance against quality goals.
• Train and educate employees on quality control processes and procedures.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure the quality of incoming materials and services.
• Serve as the point of contact for quality-related inquiries and issues from customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as quality management, engineering, or science
• At least 3 years of experience in a quality control or quality assurance role
• Experience with quality management systems such as ISO 9001 or similar
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to develop and implement effective corrective actions.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to analyze data and identify trends.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software programs

Preferred:

·         3-5 years of experience as a Quality Control Coordinator within the construction industry.

·         Ability to work remote worksites on a rotational basis.

·         A diploma or degree in engineering, or quality assurance.
