The Downtown Timmins BIA is currently seeking resumes for Student Summer Employment in 2025.

If you have a passion for diverse activities and thrive in outdoor work environments, we invite you to apply for the position of Summer Event Assistant.

In this role, you will assist in coordinating various events such as the Urban Park, Urban Park Children’s Activities, Urban Park Farmer’s Market, Street Events, and beautification projects.

We are offering a rate of $18.50 per hour, for your enthusiasm and skills.

Eligible Students

Students hired must meet the eligibility criteria of the program:

• All students must be currently enrolled in a secondary, or post-secondary institution or within six months of graduation and have reached the age of 15 upon commencement of employment.

• Proof of student enrolment must be provided to the employer.

• Students must be residents of Ontario during the period of employment.

• Students must be eligible to work in Canada and have a Social Insurance Number (SIN).

• Students should be living in Ontario at the time they start work.
