Timmins Overhead Door has been serving North-Eastern Ontario for over 47 years, earning a reputation as the leader in our industry. We provide expert installation and service of residential and commercial overhead doors, including sectional, rolling steel, high-speed, and specialty doors. We're currently seeking a Technician Helper / Shop-Hand to join our hardworking team.

The Role Includes:
- Assisting in the service and installation of residential, commercial, and specialty doors
- Maintaining a clean and organized shop and yard (includes sweeping, cutting grass, whipper snipping, etc.)
- Unloading shipments using a forklift and organizing customer orders
- Supporting technicians on job sites and in the shop
- Working with a focus on safety, quality, and superior customer service
- General shop duties and occasional yard work
- Full-time hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with opportunity for overtime and on-call work
- Some travel throughout N-E Ontario (overnight stays with accommodations and meal allowance provided, sometimes flights are required)
- Performing any reasonable task requested by the management team—without attitude or complaints!!!
- Must be able to pass drug/alcohol testing on a regular basis

What We're Looking For:
- Valid driver’s license
- Comfortable with heights (ladders and lifts)
- Physically able to lift up to 80 lbs, bend, and perform manual tasks
- Reliable, self-motivated, and eager to learn
- Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
- Safety tickets are an asset (e.g., Fall Arrest, Lift Operation, WHMIS, NORCAT)
