Northern Labour Supply Services (NLSS) is currently seeking experienced Development Miners to join our team at a premier underground mining operation in Northern Ontario.

Responsibilities:
- Perform underground development work, including lateral and ramp development
- Operate mining equipment such as jumbo drills, bolters, muckers, and scoop trams
- Install ground support systems (bolts, mesh, shotcrete, timber supports)
- Conduct drilling and blasting activities following engineering specifications
-Ensure proper ventilation, water drainage, and safety procedures are maintained
- Work closely with supervisors, engineers, and other mining personnel to meet production targets
- Perform routine inspections and basic equipment maintenance
- Adhere to all mine safety policies and procedures

Qualifications & Requirements:
Underground Hard Rock Miner Common Core (U0000 - U0012) certification
Minimum 2+ years of underground mining experience in development roles
Experience operating jumbo drills, bolters, and/or scoop trams
Strong understanding of mine safety regulations and ground control
Ability to work in confined, wet, and dusty environments
Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy loads, climbing ladders, and working at heights
Valid Ontario driver’s license (Class G or better)
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol test

Work Conditions:
- Rotation schedule: 5/5/4 or 4/3
- 10-12 hour shifts, days and nights
- Exposure to extreme temperatures, humidity, and underground conditions
- Must have own transportation to travel to and from minesite
