We are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Bookkeeper & Office Administration Specialist. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the success of two dynamic companies at the forefront of multiple fields.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general administrative duties, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and organizing files and documents.
- Organize and maintain physical and electronic filing systems for diverse projects.
- Assist with bookkeeping tasks such as data entry, reconciliations, inventory and equipment tracking.
- Process accounts receivable/payable and assist with account reconciliation.
- Process payroll accurately and on time, considering the unique requirements of different sectors. Including all related remittances.
- Submit all government remittances.
- Support HR with administrative tasks, such as onboarding, training enrollments and record-keeping
- Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and other business documents.
- Maintain inventory and equipment tracking
Skills:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper and/or office administrator, preferably in a multi-sector environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of clerical procedures and office management systems.
- Must be flexible and adapt well to changes.
Qualifications:
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality.
- Good problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage).

Education:
- Secondary School (required)
Experience:
