Commerce Management Group is currently looking to hire a Community Development Intern for one of our clients.

Under the direction of the Chief Administrative Officer, the Community Development Intern will:

·         Assist the Township of Chapleau and the hired Consultants in Community Development projects for Chapleau.

·         Assist in completing funding applications for the Township of Chapleau

·         Support the management of project budgets, schedules, and internal/external documents.

·         Create communication materials including key messages, presentations, event/program marketing materials, etc.

·         Conduct consultations with various stakeholders

·         Coordinate/assist in the coordination of events and programs to support community development.

·         Work with Consultants and the Economic Development Manager to engage, promote, and track community and economic development in the town of Chapleau

Qualifications:

·         Preference will be given to University or College graduates.

·         Bilingualism in French and English is considered an asset.

·         Reside, and be legally entitled to work, in Canada
