Commerce Management Group is currently looking for an Economic Development Manager for one of our clients.

Under the direction of the Business Consultant, the Economic Development Manager will:

·         Manage an economic development project (create project management documents, conduct meetings, conduct necessary research, write a report, etc.)

·         Assist Consultants in economic development for Chapleau

·         Complete funding applications on behalf of Chapleau

·         Update Gantt charts and assist with progress report writing, attend/manage meetings, and provide progress updates/presentations.

·         Complete project specific research to support planning process

·         Assist hired Consultants in managing business support services for the Community of Chapleau

Qualifications:

·         Preference will be given to University or College graduates.

·         Bilingualism in French and English is considered an asset.

·         Reside, and be legally entitled to work, in Canada
