Reporting to the Campus Manager, Timmins, the Invigilator will be responsible for overseeing tests that are being written in the Accessibility Centre and ensure policies and procedures are being followed.
What you will be doing:
- Actively supervise students from a variety of programs who are registered with the Accessibility Centre in completing tests;
- Liaise with faculty for testing documents and instructions;
- Ensure the integrity of evaluation is maintained;
- Ensure that students work exclusively with materials provided specifically for the examination;
- Ensure supports and services are available to invigilate the testing: scribing/ assistive technology/ room requirements, etc.; and
- Meet the confidentiality requirements of students.
The successful candidate will be a self-directed individual with the ability to balance multiple tasks with frequent interruptions, keen attention to detail and excellence in customer service. They will also possess strong communication skills, problem-solving skills, and be proficient in Microsoft software, such as Word, Excel, and Outlook. computer skills. The candidate must demonstrate commitment to working within a team environment.
The incumbent may be required to provide a criminal record check.
