QA/QC Coordinator (Remote Camp Job)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA/QC Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing quality assurance and quality control processes throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring that construction standards and procedures meet the project’s requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC plans for the project.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work conforms to the contract documents and standards.
- Monitor and ensure the proper execution of construction processes and procedures.
- Prepare and review quality documentation, such as inspection reports, material test reports, and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
- Ensure compliance with ISO quality standards
- Collaborate with the project team, subcontractors, and external vendors to ensure the quality of materials and workmanship.
- Review and approve method statements, quality control plans, and inspection test plans (ITP).
- Coordinate quality audits and ensure timely closure of corrective actions.
- Maintain a comprehensive QA/QC records system for all construction phases.
- Provide training and guidance to site staff on QA/QC best practices.
- Ability to review data from testing to ensure meet the quality standards Responsible for project tracking tools, including tracking of design and construction schedules and estimates
- Provide Support to the Project Manager for client update meetings and project management
- Assist in the coordination, preparation and submission of as-built drawings and design drawings
- Identify and assist in resolution of issues related to the above reports Provide data and input for month-end reconciliation
- Maintain files and correspondence on active and completed projects Provide support for meeting packages and reports preparation; track and follow up on action
- Project assurance support with understanding and completion of internal project reporting Organizes and maintains project site files (active and completed) and documents; manages electronic document database and/or file sharing site.
- Effectively prepare turnover packages for project completion
- Demonstrated exceptional attention to detail and professionalism in all interactions, fostering strong client relationships and ensuring the successful closure of projects to mutual satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in QA/QC for large-scale construction projects.
- Thorough knowledge of construction standards, building codes, and QA/QC procedures.
- Experience in Microsoft Project
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
Schedule:
This position is based at a remote Mine camp, 7-days-on, 7-days-off rotation.
